Go figure...He transfers to a new position and I finally get to be a stay at home mom after nine years and what did I do...? I decide I need more to keep myself busy. Being the busy high-energy person that I am and with five children ranging from "okay" to "unbearable" one would think that I wouldn't need more to do... I'd need a vacation. But I have found that in order for us to remain sane in our busy little abode, I needed an outlet, someway to stay connected to the outside world, something to keep me from becoming an adolescent all over again. Such to my surprise that this outlet has, in-turn, become an exciting full time job that brings smiles to faces and memories that will outlast us all.

I have always loved life and the pictures that remind us of the times we've had. BUT I have always found the filing of images in a scrap book somewhat cumbersome. I relished in the idea of coming up with fun new ways to display these permanent views to our past. So, for the non-scrapbook lover in me, what better way to display our paper treasures than in something that I truly love - Jewelry, trinkets and all the beautiful shinny stuff that go with it.

When we started this business - of making every woman happy and every man think "great another way to spend money" - I had taken over our home dining room in our newly built home for people - not businesses. It only made sense! Luckily for me our dining room was closed off from the main house with two French doors. So I moved in, covered the glass doors with a somewhat tasty burgundy sheer, gave half the new office to my family for a home office and the other half to my business. Once the dust settled, the work began.

We marveled in the idea of owning our own business and found that the best place to start our marketing march was with the person behind the camera... the photographer. Whether this was the hired professional, the soccer mom or Aunt Bee taking a picture of Opie blowing out his candles .... All of them capturing moments that would last a lifetime; every piece that we have designed and every piece that we will design come from that very thought... we love making people smile and we love creating gifts for all to enjoy.

Since 2004, we have worked day and night filling orders and creating new products, working tirelessly to put us on the forefronts of everyone's mind. And yes, we outgrew our dining room after the second year and again had to take over another area of our home. Fortunately for me, we had a nice room in the lower level of our home - the "Man cave" or what we called, "the weight room." It's a great space, my husband and I both felt that way - only for different reasons. Nonetheless, I gave back to us - our dining room, which our children promptly decided needed to be turned into their study. The only peace of mind I can offer to those family members in objection to this latest take over is: "someday I will take over that empty acreage next to our home and give you back the weight room." [All smiles or course]

Every year we grow larger and larger and our products become more and more unique. We have come from the days of me saying with absolute joy "we have twenty buyers!" to today where I say with absolute numbness "we are over three thousand." Whether it's the "I love your products please send me more information" or "I need to place another bulk order." We are always eager, always excited, and always looking for that little nitch to keep us separated from the masses and we thank all of you for having interest in us, our products and our lives.

Always,
Patricia
